Que Tal Amigos?

Lots of great College Football games today.  #2 Texas Longhorns led by Colt McCoy vs. Sam Bradford's Sooners from Oklahoma - aka the (OK Corral) that is original and used first by me.  Anyway, USC Trojans try to continue their dominance over Notre Dame Fighting Irish;  Can USC make it 8 years in a row with victory?  #4 Virginia Tech Hokies need to fight off Georgia Tech - this game I'm looking for an upset as my home team and alma mater Boise State University Broncos need some help to rise in the polls and get that long awaited National Championship Game of which Lou Holtz adamantly swears they do not deserve.  Has he already forgot about the Oklahoma Sooners fall in the Tositios Fiesta Bowl in January 2007?  Lou Holtz could be getting (sometimers disease) sometimes he remembers, sometimes he forgets.  #12 Iowa Hawkeyes vs. the Wisconsin mean Badgers should be entertaining as well.  Lastly our Arizona State University Sundevils take on Washington Huskies in Tempe, AZ today.  I will be watching on TV as I gave away my season tickets to a friend from Ohio that now lives out here.  He has never been to an ASU game and, well today it is going to be hot, so have fun Pete.  You will be on the shade covered side of the field.

Now getting to professional baseball, wouldn't it be great to see the Freeway series - Dodgers vs. Angels in the World Series . I might even drive over on Freeway/Interstate 10 from Phoenix to catch a game and the fever.

My Bad Tequila would like to welcome country newcomers the Russian Federation, Nepal and India.  Also welcome back France, Mexico and my good buddies in the United Kingdom of where I was able to spend one fun semester of college and play American Football for those Staffordshire Stallions in Stoke on Trent.  I do miss those great times and rainy days.

Hurricane Rick is forming just below the resort town of Acapulco, Mexico.  I love Acapulco, only been there once but what a time - cliff diving, senorita watching and tequila drinking.  Hurricane Rick please stay away from my beloved Mexico.  I have a Buddy named Rick as do most of us in this world and his new name is Hurricane Rick, used to be the Dancing Machine.

It's going to be another warm one in the valley of the Sun. Yesterday, here in Scottsdale 102F, expected 98F for the high and 70F for the low.  Looks like a little pool time and mixing up some good ol' Mexican tequila - Hornitos for a great tasting Margarita.

Well, I seriously need to do some writing today and get Chapter 8 out of the way and continue on so that you all might read the great adventure novel of "MY BAD TEQUILA."
