Amigas & Amigos, BLOG Time for the Halloween Month of October has arisen like the full moon on Friday the 18th of this month. My Amigo Rick D., yes the Dancer Man that suggested and helped me move from the cold, icy mountains of Idaho to the clear, almost never freezing desert of Arizona of which when my days are no more, I shall be buried next to a cacti, six feet under, just as my Amigos of old Tombstone are covered with the dirt of which the scorpion crawls and the rattlesnake slithers. Each night the lone coyote will howl atop my grave and the native Arizona Indian that has not taken up with the white man’s gambling and alcohol will decipher the story of my tremendous journey and life.

Yes, I wish happiness for all days and nights for my good Amigo Rick and his new bride, Tina of Italian and German descent. Rick has waited 57 years, 11 months and 1 day to experience the wedded life – be it bliss or be it piss; only time will tell as it can be glorious heaven or it can be pure hell. Word of advice, happy wife = happy life!
Great trip to my favorite country in the world where most of the Mexicans live – yep, MEXICO is where I GO to Chillax and sip cervezas of frio and drink margaritas as fast as little Luis can blend “the frozen concoction that helps me hang on.” – Cheers to Jimmy Buffett and my other Trop Rock Amigos – Mark Mulligan playing at La Palapa, Eric Holland performing at Soggy Peso and Sam Rainwater strumming his ukulele for guests at Bahia Delfin – all of San Carlos fame. This trip we took a couple of virgins from Boise, Idaho with us that had never traveled to Sonora, Mexico by way of car, train, bus or plane. Rich & Rhonda were extremely surprised at the fun night life and the restaurants galore that made up the small fishing, tourist village of San Carlos. Amigos Abby, Kim, Connie, Tony, Gerrie, Tom, Emma, Jeff, Jay and Mary. Viva San Carlos!!!
Halloween Party at Don & Tina’s place in North Scottsdale was the place to be on Saturday night, October 26th with catered Italian lasagna and the works. Plenty of TEQUILA as Rico was dressed as a rootin tootin Tequila Pancho Villa with shots galore being poured to all with a costume and especially those without. Finally, enough Tequila and Cervezas were downed by a cowboy and this wasn’t a costume. Cord was the Cowboy that took off his boots and shirt exposing some bad tattoo work and jumped into the swimming pool holding 68 degree water and floating ghosts. Cord was one dripping mess with those Wrangler jeans still on and soaked. Mayhem was a hit as a costume – with suit and black smudges on the face with a small bandage and a very similar resemblance to the actor that portrays the smartest raccoon, a streaker and a torn banner on a car – Mayhem had his trusty sidekick Flo of Progressive Insurance to take care of everything he touched. Yes, Progressive Insurance providing coverage for State Farm Mayhem. Only thing worse would be ObamaCare aka the Unaffordable Health Care that is costing America and its tax payers mucho dinero. I guess I’ll just pay the fine like almost every other red blooded American, once Obama’s government bunch gets the site working correctly. Still dumbfounded over why Pelosi, Reid and Boehner along with Barack Hussein Obama are still in office and are in control of our lives with a retirement plan like no other and guess what, No Obama Care for these Politic Rats – they are immune to the disease that may put most of America under the weather.
Boise State Football has hit a new low since the walk-on freshman made his debut on the green turf now dubbed smurf turf. Yes, Boise State is now 5 – 3 after a poor showing with 5 turnovers in Provo, Utah while visiting the Brigham Young University (BYU) Cougars. The BSU Broncos could match the 1985 season with a possible 7 – 4 record going into the Bowl Season. One of the losses has been respectable with a 41 – 40 nail biter in Fresno of which I was able to attend the game. My other favorite team, the Oklahoma Sooners aka the Crimson and Cream Machine are doing a great job after defeating 10th ranked Texas Tech this last Saturday and now have a 7 – 1 record and a BCS ranking of Numero 10; Should be a great game versus BCS #6 Baylor Bears coming to us this Thursday evening, October 31st – Yes, College Football on Halloween. Sorry, you little tricker treaters, I won’t be answering the doorbell as I’ll be glued to a television set, probably in Spokane, Washington as I’ve heard there are an over abundance of vampires in that area and I consider myself a vampire killer, not quite as good as Buffy, plus her breasts are much fuller and plumper than most vampire slayers which probably gives her an advantage when slaying a male vampire. Hey, just because they are vampires, doesn't mean that they are dead and only interested in virgin necks.
Oh, and one more thing about Halloween, my good Amigo, John Kenneth Schoen of Spoof TV produced his Happy Halloween 2013 featuring twenty two personalities including Wild Bill Wichrowski and Zack Larson of Deadliest Catch Fame, Bobby Brown of famed Bail Bonds – another Reality Star and Yours Truly – Author, Writer, Rico Austin – another non-Reality Star, but with a catch phrase, “Have a Double Shot of Reality.” Great job John, check out his talent of Spoofing:
