Mr. Kenny Chesney, born Kenneth Arnold Chesney on March 26, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee is an American Country Music Artist. Kenny has recorded 13 albums, 11 of which have received the certification gold or higher by the RIAA. He has produced more than 30 top ten singles, 17 of which have reached the Number One spot. He has won 4 consecutive ACM Entertainer of the Year awards, the last on May 18, 2008. I have many favorites of Kenny songs, my favorite album is "the road and the radio" produced by Buddy Cannon and Kenny Chesney. Song Number 7 on that CD "Beer in Mexico" always gets me going and puts me in the party mood.
On May 9th, 2005 Kenny married the actress Rene Zellweger on the island of St. John. After four months of marriage, they filed for and were granted annulment. On this I'm not taking sides as I respect both of them for their professional roles as artists in their respective fields. Kenny is a better singer and Rene is a better actress. I loved her in Jerry McGuire playing opposite Mr. Tom Cruise, the story about an agent, a girl that believes in following her heart and inspiration, and an NFL football player that happens to be on my favorite football team - Arizona Cardinals. This player was acted brilliantly by Cuba Gooding. "And that's all I have to say about that" - Forrest Gump portrayed by another great actor - Tom Hanks. Well, that's not all I have to say about that, why didn't Cuba, Tom or Rene get ahold of me for a cameo appearance? Bay Watch will fly me to LA, pay my expenses and asking salary to appear in an episode but a film is being put together in my backyard and do I receive a phone call .......... NOOOOO! I'm not bitter just confused! ;(
Boise State University is now 11 - 0 after the Broncos having bucked the Utah State Aggies or as I labeled them in 2007 in Logan, Utah, "Agricultural Guys". It was that night that my five, two other great couples and myself were driven around in the only taxi in Logan to find drinking establishments. That taxi driver waited for us at each place, even though his phone was ringing off the hook. I guess we must have tipped pretty fairly the first stop. Cheers, Rich, Rhonda, Kory, Michele & Connie!!!
