Buenas Dias Compadres de MY BAD TEQUILA,

Today's adventure takes us on a tour through the Pacific ocean.

Hurricane Rick is our first stop, although we could be talking about the Sea of Cortez as well as the Pacific if this now tropical storm touches over Cabo San Lucas and the southern part of the BAJA. Remember amigos, these storms are unpredictable as was  Jimena and could gain strength in the warm waters of Jacque Cousteau's "Aquarium" The Sea of Cortez. Please stay away from Guaymas and San Carlos as they are still recovering from the devastation of Jimena that circled in the area for 42 hours of torrential down pouring of rain.

Also affected by Senor Rick is the annual high dollar stakes - Bisbee Black and Blue Marlin Tournament held in Cabo San Lucas - great, rich fishermen from around the globe bring their unbelievable yachts and high dollar fishing vessels into the Cabo marina every October for a share of the $1,000,000 dollar purse with over 1/2 a million dollars going to the 1st place team - that's a whole lot of pesos.  Sounds as if the Marlin and Sailfish will be having a Hurricane Party in Senor Rick's behalf, but I might add this tourney as well as most fishing tourneys today are catch and release so very few of these beautiful fish are taken from their home in the sea.

Catalina Island has also become a new cruise ship stop thanks to efforts by Hurricane Rick to change cruisers itineraries.  I have never been to Catalina Island, however there were days when I used to call Huntington Beach, California home we could see the Island afar in the distance. I am sure it does not compare to Puerto Vallarta or Mazatlan though.  Oh well, that's taking a cruise for you - the ocean can be a great monster or a spectacular site.

Now, we're off to Honolulu, Hawaii for the #5 ranked Boise State University Broncos game on Saturday.  I'm packing my best Hawaiian shirts and Bronco tee shirts to face the Rainbows (I mean Warriors).  I can't keep them straight as Hawaii changed it's mascot name a couple of years ago.  I am going to be in my blue horse costume and raising a horseshoe or two to the rowdy Hawaiian fans that were so cruel to my Boise friends 2 years ago.  That's right I carry a grudge and I remember all the bad things their coach Greg McMackin said about BSU Broncos.  Big Mac of MacDonald's - I mean Coach McMackin of Hawaii don't turn your back to a blue looking equine character that could be a jackass if it wants.  Let's see if the WAC (Western Athletic Conference) makes the highlight reel this weekend!!!

Lastly, I need to sell some cool tee shirts; buy them for yourself, your wife, your husband, your mommy, your pet! You'll receive compliments like you've never gotten in your life and you'll be helping Uncle Rico finish his novel by giving him some financial strength so that he does not have to get another job at Circle K convenience store.  I'm not going to grovel but they have pirates and poles and tequila words on them. =) http://shop.mybadtequila.com/
