Dos Lunas Tequila, Rock Hall of Fame, Wisconsin DUI, Fish n Chicks - Contest Announcement

Tonight I tried- Dos Lunas Grand Reserve Tequila that is aged 10 years in a Spanish Sherry Cask.  Dos Lunas Tequila produces a line of award-winning ultra-premium tequila made from 100% estate grown Blue Agave in the central Mexican state of Jalisco.  Headquartered in El Paso, TX, Dos Lunas Tequila is all-natural and chemical free.

Founded in 2005 by Richard Poe, an El Paso-based businessman with a passion for tequila.  “My goal was to create the smoothest, most refined tequila in the world,” says Poe.  Distilled and bottled in the heart of Jalisco, in Guadalajara; I love Guadalajara as I lived there with a very bueno family in December 1996 & January 1997 while attending Thunderbird, Global School of Management.  Ricardo and Maria took me into their lovely home with their 3 ninos and 1 nina and it was there that I began to appreciate fine tequila.  I lived with them so that I might be able to converse Spanish with the people of Mexico, Central America, South America, Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Miami, and California.

Dos Lunas tequilas are harvested from fully mature 100% Blue Agave plants and are all-natural, with no chemical additives or artificial coloring.  All Dos Lunas products are fermented using natural yeast, a process that takes up to five times longer and is rarely found in today’s world of spirits.

Dos Lunas also has Blanco Silver - not aged; Anejo - aged 9 months (same length of time to have a human baby);  Anejo - aged 18 months (same length of time for the baby to grow, crawl, learn to walk and tear up a bunch of shit if you don't keep an eye on the little monster) for mothers who might be getting upset with the word monster as an association with their beloved little junior - I am using it playfully since it is the eve before Halloween.

Next, I would like to Announce what will become our very first contest for Chicas y ninas (women & girls).  This Contest will be held monthly.  On behalf of Fish n Chicks and MY BAD TEQUILA, we will accept pictures of fisher women and their fish or fishes.  The top three finalists will be mentioned favorably in our Blog along with their fish photograph.  A little history about Fish n Chicks, they are an International Female Fishing Team and they fish in the San Carlos, Mexico's Women's International Fishing Tournament.  The 1st prize winner will also receive her choice of a Fish n Chick t-shirt or women's tank top.  Entries may begin immediately and will be accepted until Nov. 30th, 2009; November's winning Fish n Chick will be selected and notified by email no later than December 10th, 2009.

Contest rules, women send your fishing photographs via email in the form of jpeg to rico@mybadtequila.com

You may choose whether to include your full name or just first name as it will be published on MY BAD TEQUILA blog.  Please specify how you would like you name to appear and tell us where your fish was caught and what kind of fish it is; That is if you know, if not we'll guess!   Good Luck

Guys, Husbands, Dads, Brothers and Boyfriends of Fishing Women - get your Fishing Girl to send in that once in a lifetime catch and help her win the 1st monthly Fish n Chicks contest.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band along with several other rock n roll icons including Stevie Wonder helped kickoff the Rock of Fame's 25 anniversary at Madison Square Garden in the Big Apple (New York City).

Moving on, will take us into Eau Claire, Wisconsin where a woman drunk driver reported herself via 911 call on her own cell phone while driving intoxicated.  This woman should not own a car, a cell phone and should never be allowed to drink Tequila.  Well that is todo I have today!
Saludos,

Uncle Rico
